Sharing between your devices
If your Android phone and your iPad are both connected to your computer, they can see and edit each other's boards, while all of them are on the same Wi‑Fi. Each device decides for itself whether to share.
Turn it on
On each phone or tablet that should share its boards:
- Open Settings > Servers.
- Under Boards on your computer, tick Let my other devices see this phone's boards (or "this iPad's").
It's off until you turn it on.
Where shared boards show up
On your other device, open your computer's boards. The menu shows each other device that's sharing, with its boards. Tap one to open it there; changes go straight to that device. Back to your computer's boards returns you.
Private boards
Any board can be kept to one device: open its menu (right-click, or press and hold) and choose Private: only on this device. A small lock shows next to it.
- A private board on a phone is never sent to your computer or your other devices.
- A private board on your computer never shows on your phones.
Use it for anything personal, or when several people share a computer.
Good to know
- Nothing is copied: when a device leaves the Wi‑Fi or closes Zomello, its boards disappear from the others.
- Moving a board from another device isn't possible from there; use Moving boards between devices on the device itself.
