Household chores

A chores board that refills itself, assigns jobs, and reminds people. Works on one device, or shared on a family server.

1. Make a board "Chores" with buckets This week, Doing, Done. In Done's menu, set Cards moved here become > Completed.
2. Add people: Settings > People > add each person (on a server, everyone with an account is already there).
3. Add the chores as cards: "Take out the trash", "Vacuum", "Laundry"…
4. Make them repeat: open each card > Repeat: Weekly (pick the day), Every 2 weeks, Monthly. When someone completes it, the next one appears with the next date.
5. Assign them: open a card > Assign.
6. Reminders: a Reminder on the cards that need one ("Bins out" Tuesday 7 pm), plus Settings > Reminders > Daily summary in the morning.
7. Everyone checks My Tasks to see just their chores.

Nice touches

• Customize > Show on cards > Assigned to: Avatars with names, so the board shows who does what at a glance.
• A checklist on big jobs ("Clean kitchen": counters, floor, fridge).
• Group by > Assigned to in Board view shows a column per person.
• Card aging (in Customize) fades chores nobody has touched in a while.
