Copying and pasting cards
Copy cards from one board and paste them into another, on the same device or a different one.
Copy
- One card: right-click (press and hold) the card > Copy card.
- A bucket's open cards: the bucket's ⋯ > Copy work order.
- A whole board's open cards: the board's ⋯ > Copy work order (all open cards).
- Several cards: Ctrl click them, then Copy work order in the bar that appears.
The copy is readable text, so you can also paste it into a note, an email or an AI chat.
Paste
- Open the board you want them on.
- The board's ⋯ > Paste cards…, or a bucket's ⋯ > Paste cards here….
- Pick the bucket under Into. The cards box fills in from the clipboard when the device allows it; otherwise press and hold in the box and choose Paste.
- Check the preview ("3 cards: …") and click Add 3 cards.
On a computer you can also just press Ctrl V while looking at a board.
Pasted cards keep their titles, descriptions, checklists, labels, priority, dates and people. People who aren't in your list yet are added.
Paste a list from anywhere
A plain list works too: each line becomes a card, and indented lines become its checklist.

Copy on one device and paste on another if your devices share a clipboard (for example Windows and Android with Phone Link, or KDE Connect on Linux). Inside the phone app, copy from your computer's boards and paste into the phone's own boards: they share the phone's clipboard.
To move a whole board instead, see Moving boards between devices.
