Coming from Trello or Planner
Bring your boards over in a minute. Imports always make a new board, so nothing you already have changes, and Ctrl Z undoes an import.
1. Export from your old app
| From | How |
|---|---|
| Trello | Open the board > ⋯ Menu > Print, export, and share > Export as JSON. Save the page that opens as a .json file. |
| Microsoft Planner | Open the plan > ⋯ next to the plan's name > Export plan to Excel. Use the .xlsx file as it is (or save it as .csv). |
2. Import into Zomello
- Settings > Data > Import a board.
- Choose the file (or drop it onto that window). Zomello shows a preview: the board name (you can change it), how many buckets, cards, labels and people, and each bucket with its card count.
- Tick Add (people) to Zomello to keep cards assigned to the same names.
- Click Import as a new board.
What comes along
Buckets (lists), cards, descriptions, checklists, labels, due and start dates, people, progress and archived cards. Anything Zomello can't bring over is listed as a note in the preview.
Afterwards
- Put the board in a section, star it, or customize it.
- Check Settings > People: rename people to how you want them shown (it updates every card).
